As we look toward the end of another school year, we want to make a special effort to show our teachers how much we appreciate all they've done this year for our kids. The PTO has worked to create a schedule of small ways we can all show our appreciation.
Monday, May 5th
- The PTO will provide a coffee bar and breakfast.
- Students will be asked to write notes of appreciation for their teachers on papers in the hallway or on post-it notes. Please encourage your child to take time to write a kind note to their teachers.
- Families are encouraged to send a note or email expressing appreciation to their child's teachers.
Tuesday, May 6th
- Students will be asked to write notes of appreciation for their Related Arts teachers and special staff members on papers in the hallway or on post-it notes. Please encourage your child to take time to write a kind note to their teachers.
- Families are encouraged to send a note or email expressing appreciation to their child's Related Arts teachers and/or any staff members.
- 6th grade families are asked to stock the teacher's lounge (a separate email has gone out about this and the sign-up link can be found HERE).
Wednesday, May 7th
- The PTO will provide ice cream and popsicle treats for the teachers.
- Families are asked to send in school supplies or gift cards to help teachers replenish their stock.
Thursday, May 8th
- The PTO will provide lunch.
- 6th grade families are asked to stock the teacher's lounge (a separate email has gone out about this and the sign-up link can be found HERE).
Friday, May 9th
- Families are asked to bring your teacher a "favorite thing" from their list (snacks, treats, gift cards, etc). Teacher favorites lists can be found HERE.
In addition, the PTO will be doing drawings for giveaways daily for the teachers. If you would like to donate an item or gift card for a drawing, please email Mandy Bauman.
