Last week the Meigs PTO's orchestrated a “Week of Joy” dedicated to the Meigs faculty and staff. Each day was designed to bring joy and appreciation to the wonderful faculty and staff at Meigs:
Monday Monday started with the stocking stuffer of teacher supplies. Teachers got to pick out stockings and fill them with pencils, markers, and other essentials.
Tuesday Tuesday featured a cozy hot chocolate bar with Krispy Kreme Donuts to lift their spirits while welcoming in the holiday season.
Wednesday Wednesday treated teachers and staff to a cookie and candy bar where they could enjoy cookies or make their own candy goodie bags to take home or to their classrooms.
Thursday Thursday was filled with festive spirit as an ugly Christmas sweater contest engaged both staff and students. Staff and students voted, and six winning staff members received gift cards.
Friday Wrapping up the week on Friday, teachers and staff enjoyed a Chik-fil-A breakfast, concluding a week of gratitude for their hard work and dedication.
