MNPS PARENT ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Director's Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is comprised of two representatives from each of the 12 clusters within MNPS. In addition, the Cluster PACs voted on Sept. 18th to approve the formation of a Magnet Cluster PAC. Their co-chairs will attend the Director's PAC as well. The Director's PAC meets with the Director of Schools and other MNPS administrators to discuss district wide concerns. View the by-laws here.
Cluster PAC meetings are held on the same night across the district. (see the twelve geographical clusters) Cluster parents meet to discuss topics of common interest and concern, develop cluster events and initiatives, and meet with school leaders.Please see the meeting list for times and locations of the meetings.

MAGNET PAC FORMED
On Sept. 18, 2014 all 12 cluster PACs met and approved the formation of a Magnet Cluster PAC. The Magnet Cluster PAC held its first meeting on October 18th at Rose Park Middle Prep. They elected their officers, including the Chair and Co-Chair that will attend the Director's PAC meetings. The following magnet schools will participate in the Magnet Cluster PAC meetings: Head Middle, Haynes Middle, IT Creswell Middle, Meigs Middle, Rose Park Middle, East Middle and High, Hume-Fogg High, Martin Luther King High, and Nashville School of the Arts.
