  We look forward to our annual Evening With The Arts (EWTA) where we celebrate the amazing Related Arts programs at Meigs! We are fortunate to have so many talented students and staff! Early Bird School Hang Out 3pm- 4pm in Gym, Food Trucks/Art/Entertainment 4-6:30pm
Finale  6:30-7:30pm Featuring the Meigs Strings End-of-Year Concert

THIS IS THE PREMIER SCHOOL EVENT OF THE SPRING.  Join us and bring the whole family. Come enjoy our school arts showcase featuring visual, digital and performance art, coffee house poetry, strings, singing, and dance. Back by popular demand, "Murder Mystery"!
This is an Open House-Style event. 
Early Bird Hang-out / Aftercare 3:00  - 4:00
Main Stage 4:15 - 6:00
Henna Tatoos 4:00 - 6:00
Band Recitals 4:00 - 4:50
Murder Mystery 4:45 - 5:45
Coffee House 5:00 - 6:00
Food Trucks / Dessert Bars 4:00 - 6:30
Strings Concert 6:30 - 7:30
Food trucks will provide dinner.
$10 recommended to send with your child for Hot Dog and baked goods.

FREE Bottled water provided by PTO.

The Performances are FREE. No tickets needed. With permission, if your child is not involved in performing, they are welcome to stay in the gym in the Early-Bird Hang Out  from 3-4pm and you may meet them at the event after work. You must SIGN THEM UP. Children unaccompanied  by and adult will need to be picked up by 6:00 pm if not attending the strings concert, otherwise they must be picked up by 7:30pm.

CALLING ALL BAKERS!
Click this link to sign up to bake for the EWTA Dessert Bar. This is an easy way to help from home. And then send in your goodies with your child or drop them in the car line AM and PM May 17th. We accept all baker gifts - home made and grocery made.

THE PARNASSUS BOOK MOBILE Will Be at the event selling books for required summer reading. Rising Hume-Fogg Freshman can also purchase from their reading list.

PARKING will be
available in the school lots, the Frederick Douglass Head Start parking lot and, after 3:30, the Meigs bus lane. Security will be provided.

VOLUNTEER THE DAY OF THE EVENT. WE NEED YOU!
Sign up to work parking, greeting and crowd control, set-up for signs and stages and dessert bar. Monitor food trucks. Work the Dessert Bar or Meigs Mart. YES! Meigs Mart will be open selling Meigs wear. We will need clean up help too.
