HOW TO GET A MESSAGE TO YOUR CHILD AT SCHOOL We have office message boards to help you communicate with your child. Your child does not have a phone? Good for you. No problem. Your child never turns their phone on? We have you covered. Afternoon plans have changed? We have your solution.
Parents should call the main office 615-271-3222 and speak to a secretary and give them the message for their student. Do not leave a voicemail in case that particular secretary is out for the day and would not get the message until the following day which would obviously be too late for your student to receive the message in a timely manner. Messages are placed on a bulletin board in the main office according to the grade level of the student.
Students names are announced at the end of the day during afternoon announcements to come to the office for a message or important item. Please remind your students to pay attention and listen during afternoon announcements so they won’t miss hearing their name if called.
Parents if you are covering all your bases and leave a message in the office and also text the message to your student, PLEASE advise your student to STILL check the message in the office. We have no way of knowing that you also texted this information to your student and that they already have the information which leaves us frantically searching for “Johnny” to make sure he knows to not ride the bus home that day.
